T: I found this cute little subject today on my way to work. She was waiting for the bus, probably to take her to school and maybe that's why she has that sad look on her face or maybe her "special friend" just broke up with her or maybe she didn't get those tickets to that concert with that band maybe it was My Chemical Romance or maybe it was Death Cab For Cutie or something.

Day 1

Today was our premiere day as Emospotters. Geared up with camera, journalist pad and an overall perfect mood despite the rain we got on the local train in to the city of Stockholm.
Well there we headed straight to what we knew was a positive emo spot, that is just outside the ticket gates at The Central Station right next to "plattan"- a notorious drug market square where social misfits, schmeckers and emo kids have their own urban sanctuary.
Before we even got there we spotted our first emo kid. Yeah happy dance! Our first emo count ever. And then we could just keep on counting them,
this is what we found.

Location: "Gallerian" at the same Toy Store (damn this place seems to be crawling of them)

Subject 5 disappeared with his iPod playing what we can only suspect to be sad destructive suicidal love songs before we had a chance to take his picture.

Location: "Gallerian"

Emo attributes: black rimmed glasses, bad posture, black hooded anorak, shoulder bag, a general introverted geeky look

Emo designation: One of those Emos that would be pissed off if you ever called them Emo to their face also called: the Original Old school Emo Geek core

Then the batteries in our camera died before we had a chance to capture this very exiting specimen, so we'll just try our best to describe Subject 7.

Location: H&M (this H&M is very special, it sells very Emo clothes hence a superb emo spot)
